Yes. I can help you compare the coverage I offer, explain the next steps, and assist with an application or enrollment when you are ready. Availability, eligibility, and approval depend on the specific coverage and your circumstances.

No. Bright Life Insurance Consultants is privately owned and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare, the United States Government, any state government, or any federal program.

Bring your questions, current coverage information, and a short list of priorities. For Medicare Insurance or Prescription Drug Coverage, it can also help to have your doctors, pharmacies, and medications available for a secure review.

Yes, a trusted family member or caregiver can usually participate with your permission.

You will know the next step, whether that is taking more time to think, gathering information, reviewing options, or starting an application. There is no pressure to make a decision during the conversation.

Yes. Final Expense coverage is Life Insurance commonly designed with a smaller death benefit for funeral, burial, and other end-of-life costs. It is often a form of Whole Life, but policy designs and terms vary.

The named beneficiary generally receives the death benefit and may use it for funeral or burial arrangements, remaining bills, debts, or other needs. Review the beneficiary and assignment provisions in the actual policy.

Some Final Expense policies do not require an exam, but they may ask health questions. Other options may use guaranteed-issue underwriting. Eligibility, pricing, and available designs depend on the insurer and your circumstances.

Some policies provide a full benefit when coverage begins, while graded or modified policies may limit benefits for certain causes of death during an initial period. Ask for the exact schedule in writing.

Many Final Expense policies are designed with level premiums, but you should confirm which premiums and benefits are guaranteed, how long payments continue, and what could cause the policy to lapse.

Start with the expenses you want to address, any money already set aside, and a premium you can comfortably maintain. The right amount depends on your goal rather than one standard number.

The person being insured generally must know about and participate in the application, and insurable-interest rules apply. Ask an agent about the requirements in your state before beginning.

After the insured person's death, the beneficiary contacts the insurer and submits the required claim documents. The policy explains the claim process, payment options, and any provisions that could affect the amount paid.

Whether Medicare starts automatically or requires an active sign-up depends in part on when you begin receiving Social Security retirement or disability benefits. If you start receiving Social Security benefits at least 4 months before turning 65, you will generally be enrolled automatically in Medicare Part A and Part B when you turn 65. If you are waiting to claim benefits or your situation is different, you may need to contact Social Security to sign up. You will still have important coverage decisions to make, including whether prescription drug coverage fits your needs.

To get Medicare Part A and Part B benefits or join a Medicare health or drug plan, Medicare says you must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, a Cuban-Haitian entrant, or a Compact of Free Association migrant. Eligibility details can depend on your situation, so confirm the requirements with Medicare or Social Security before making an enrollment decision.
